If a puppy is constantly biting; then they could be hungry or even thirsty, or they may need to go outside to use the potty. As you know puppies are full of energy and this could be her way of letting you know that it is time to play.

If you want to stop puppy biting then you are going to have to begin taking some necessary steps. I have listed below some tips to correct dog biting behavior that you will find useful.

2. Crate Training A Puppy: Put her in her crate and put chewable toys that she can play with. This will help sooth their teething problem and give they will begin using their toy instead of your personal items.

3. Say NO: If your pup keeps biting you then begin using the command “NO.” As you keep doing this they will pick up on your commands. Be sure to stay consistent with the same word whenever you want them to stop biting.

4. Don’t Instigate It: This means avoid playing tug-of-war or any other type of teasing games that can send them the wrong signals.

5. Stop The Bite: If your pup is stubborn and continues biting on your fingers; put your thumb inside of her mouth underneath her tongue. This will help you grasp her lower jaw bone to stop the bite. Be sure to be gentle while doing this as not to hurt her. You will find that she will eventually stop; because she does not want your thumb in her mouth.
